November is here and I’m writing like a mad thing again. It’s day nine today and the NaNoWriMo forums have slowly come back up to speed after being clogged with the surge of new sign ups and heavy load that always happens during the first week or so.
The Portal Sundered is fully on Amazon.com - all there, cover image, search inside, showing as In Stock, all present and correct. All that’s missing is a sales history.
The long and eagerly awaited sequel to The Portal Between is now available for sale. The Portal Sundered carries on where the first book left off, with Sam on Ametsams side of the portals and Kate and Lily in our world, coping with everyday life; and a new social worker.
I’m in the process of preparing The Portal Sundered for release now and I have some choices to make. Want to help?
It’s Book 2 in the Portal Series and it’s just about ready. I have a cover. I’ve finished editing, just about, like you ever really finish editing…..
Sales figures for August are in and The Portal Between is still averaging between 5 and 7 copies sold every month since appearing on Amazon and being generally available.
It’s not millions but it’s a start and everyone has to start somewhere. and hopefully the release of the second book in the series, The Portal Sundered, will boost numbers in a couple of months.
The kids team read medals and last lot of stickers, a couple of books each for them, a ten minute sit down in the middle of shopping ……. and this…… (more…)

Sarah’s book moves from the cosiness of day to day life into the realms of magic and back again with characters so well brought to life that you can see them (well I can !!). I am very much looking forward to the next book Fiona xxx

But Gillian’s eyes are green. I think, certainly not the ice blue I had in my head for Lily. How much would it matter? Her hair isn’t quite right either. But just look at the expression, look at the eyes - isn’t that just stunning?
Still in single figures, but still trickling in and hopefully soon I’ll start to see the actual sales channels showing up instead of a single consolidated figure.
