It’s done.
There’s a certain feeling that goes with typing that final sentence and putting in that final full stop. There should be a fanfare or drum roll or something.
I’ve just done that to The Portal Sundered. It’s done.
Well, not really done, not properly, but the first rough draft is finished. Now I can put in the chapter breaks, name each chapter perhaps - I didn’t in The Portal Between but I think I might this time, don’t know yet. Then it’s a very rough once over to see if I can spot obvious typo’s and glaring errors.
Once those are done I can send it out to my few select test readers and start the hunt for a cover.
We’re on target for a Christmas release!
