The British Library.

The Portal Between is listed on the central catalogue now! I’m suitably impressed, although I’m not entirely sure what it means really.

The British Library require a copy of the *best* version of any published work to be submitted to them, I assume for posterity more than anything else. They don;t sell or promote books or book sales but it’s another marker on the journey. It also says I was born in 1969 and haven’t died yet, so that’s reassuring…..

Any listing and awareness is good though and it all helps. Sales are still trickling in and the next book in the series is close to the first draft being completed so look out for that around Christmas this year I think, assuming it all goes to plan. I do need to be looking for a cover image for the new one soonish and I think I want trees again but running water too and I’ll have to see if the designer who did such a brilliant job on the first book will help with this next one too.

After that I think I want a break from the Portal series, shall I go for the Flood story I started last summer or the Space ship one?
