90,000 words!
The Portal Sundered, sequel to The Portal Between, now stands at 90,000 words and I was aiming for 100,000.
The end is in sight and it’s not what I expected it to be. I should have this first draft done by the end of July and then I can get cracking on the initial edits, chapter breaks and first formatting. Are my test readers still here? I’ll be wanting you soon, probably at the beginning of August but possibly towards the end of this month, it all depends on how fast I get on with that initial edit stuff.
